Pizza Dough

1 cupwarm water--not hot but cozy warm
1 1/2 tspdry yeast
1 tspsugar
1 tspsalt
2 tbs. oil
2-3 cupsflour

Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Add the rest of the ingredients- start with 2 cups of flour. Stir with a spoon until too difficult to mix. Then turn out onto floured surface and knead, adding more flour until a slightly stiff dough is formed. Knead until smooth. Place in greased bowl, then flip over to leave a film of oil on the dough. Cover with a damp towel and let rise 15 minutes to one hour. Grease pizza pan well, and after punching down dough, pat and roll onto a pizza pan. Top as desired. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 15 minutes, until crust is brown and cheese is bubbly and melted.
